High-Speed Video Cameras
The i-SPEED TR has been designed for R&D useage where the user’s primary aim is to capture high quality video images for subsequent review and analysis on a PC. The i-SPEED TR can be used, as with all i-SPEED cameras, in conjunction with the unique Controller Display Unit (CDU), but may also be operated by a PC via a Gigabit Ethernet connection. With a resolution of 1280×1024 and a top speed of 10,000 fps the camera is suitable for the vast majority of tests. In those circumstances where the user requires a more advanced specification the i-SPEED TR camera can be upgraded to an i-SPEED 3.

- i-FOCUS – An electronic function which confirms the focal depth of lens and exact point of focus
- i-CHEQ – A display of external LED indicators that provide confirmation of camera record status
- Luminance histogram – Provides graphical representation of the average brightness within a live image

- i-SPEED 3 upgrade package available
- Automatic electronic Fixed Pattern Noise (FPN) correction unique to each camera on power-up, negating requirement for a mechanical shutter
- Random Snapshot mode to enable the camera to take a single frame whenever it receives a sync pulse, with no minimum time between pulses and no regular pulse pattern or frequency
- Synchronisation – Phase lock enables multiple cameras to be accurately synchronised
